Dust Control Systems Custom Fit for Your Asphalt Plant
The systems of an asphalt plant that help control dust include conveyance, collection, weight/metering, storage, return, and/or disposal of the fine dust that is both used and produced in the asphalt manufacturing process. In particular, the fines are measured components of the designated asphalt mix, so the system helps ensure the integrity of the end product.
No two asphalt plants are exactly alike. With many factors, including variable requirements across the United States, each system requires customization. We’ll design to handle it all, including fitting into an existing hot mix asphalt plant layout or incorporating it into a new asphalt plant design.
Our team works closely with your team throughout the process to ensure that the design is just what you need, and we stay involved during and after installation. Making sure it works for you is personal to us.
All the Components You Need
We’ll work with you to determine which components you need, like screw conveyors, pods, and augers, along with all the made-to-order specifications to design the system that works for your plant, whether current or existing, stationary or portable.
System Features
This system refers to the components that handle dust extracted from the drying process. These components are required between the drum and the baghouse. They are used to control/meter the dust as a measured component of the asphalt mix design to achieve densities, Voids in Mineral Aggregate (VMAs), etc. Additionally, we offer a wet auger system when the fines need to be wasted or rejected. Wet augers are a must to control airborne dust issues.
