Active Involvement in the Asphalt Manufacturing Industry
Asphalt Manufacturing Industry involvement is one of the most important investments we make as an organization. It helps keep us connected, informed, and visible. It provides us avenues to contribute to the future of the industry through professional development, education, technical scholarships, and even legislation.
Sales Manager Wally Olson put it simply, “I love association meetings – they are very important. I go to them all.”
Our active participation allows us to share thought leadership, find resources, learn from our peers, and drive innovation. Being members of the associations gives us the opportunity to be very involved with all of these things so supporting them essentially supports us and our industry.
“Being associate members, we get education opportunities (as well as the producer members) to learn what is going on, what is current, what is up and coming. What they are supposed to be there for is to help members when they are having issues with DOT in any way or as a resource for their producer and associate members. The association web pages are also filled with resources for members to utilize. It also gives us an opportunity to network with other members, and provides a valuable channel for sales.”
